Okay, ladies, after a wonderful book club night, I'm happy to discuss further our plans for The Great Shakespeare Getaway. If Arna has meetings the 2-3 of Aug, what if we took off on the 4th, and planned to stay thru that weekend in August, coming back on the 7th? I still have to check with Marty about the High Adventure dates, etc., but lets all check our schedules and see if this is even a remote possibility. I can schedule the house in May, I think.
Having just looked on the Festival web-site, www.bard.org, they are doing A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III, and Romeo and Juliet (which I have never seen on stage!), as well as The Music Man (FUN!), The Glass Menagerie and Dial M for Murder. The summer schedule goes thru Sept. 3, so we could hit most of those, or any combination of them, in 3 days.:) Plus, swimming, golfing, hiking, a trip to the spa...oh! Precious Bane! When shall winter be over!
(And, yes, no baby yet...)
Also, I put a hold on both Outliers and The Happinees Project. I have not gotten THP yet, but Ouliers came in yesterday, and have started reading it...Facinating read. I think its going to be a great discussion book:) I'm excited to get THP and read it, too! Thanks, Alicia, for providing all the info from the author. What a great idea!
Richard III is my favorite Shakespeare play. I can't, however, commit to Aug until I know what the future holds as far as wedding plans. I am about to stage an intervention.
